6 months. I adore you.

6 months ago, on May 25, 2014, I married my best friend.

I can't believe today marks 6 months that I've been married to my Husband!  Marriage is a beautiful, beautiful thing.  I thank God everyday for our relationship together.  My husband Ryan is loyal, hardworking, funny, caring, handsome, faithful and trustworthy.  Just like any relationship, it takes a lot of hard work  and compromise.  Not everyday is easy.  We are always growing together and are faced with different blessings and challenges.  We've built our relationship on faith which keeps us grounded and reminds us to always love one another, regardless of the madness going on around us.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes...

In just two short weeks, I will also be 6 months pregnant!  Our union as two will soon grow into three.  We are beyond excited and thankful that we have been blessed with our little girl.  We cannot wait to meet her and have been preparing for her arrival early Spring, 2015.  I pray every night for her health and happiness.  The best way for me to prepare for my daughter is to be a good wife.  Being a good parent begins with being a good wife.  We know becoming new parents will be a beautiful roller coaster ride and we can't wait to do it together.  As one.  One thing I have learned is to love your husband most.  You will both be better parents as one loving unit.  It may sound selfish, but without that, our family unit cannot be kept.  I know she'll love her Daddy as much as I do one day!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.  Remember to give thanks.  One of the reasons I love going to my Mom's each year for Thanksgiving is that before dinner, we all take the time to go around the table and say what we are truly thankful for.  It is memorable every year.  It is always good to reflect on our blessings.  One of my favorite sayings is to count your blessings, not your sorrows.

I think it is safe to say we have a ton to be thankful this year!  Xoxo
