Anyone that knows me knows that I am extremely organized! I've contemplated turning an entire spare room into a closet and decided that wouldn't be very fair to my fiancé. Instead, I made some extra room in my closet by creating this organized shoe display in a corner of our bedroom.
When you own as many shoes as I do, it is easy to lose track of what you have when they are all piled up together. I found myself not wearing certain shoes because I forgot I even owned them. With this new display, I will have easier access when deciding on which heels to wear.
We are in the middle of planning a wedding so I needed to be economical when choosing a clean way to organize and display my shoes. I found a great ClosetMaid 9 Cube Organizer in white at Target. I bought two and stacked them for only $80. You can find them here: http://www.target.com/p/closetmaid-9-cube-organizer-white/-/A-562700#prodSlot=medium_1_1&term=closetmaid+9+cube+white
I would love to eventually buy this beautiful bookcase as a shoe display (I know it seems crazy), but I am obsessed with this gorgeous piece from Ethan Allen. I'm not quite ready to go and spend $4,000 on this piece, but a girl can dream!!
A special thanks to my fiancé for helping me put the cubes together (and for dealing with my shoe addiction). It was fairly easy if you are up for the challenge. I plan on sprucing the cubes up with some cool wallpaper or something when I have the time. I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend. Enjoy xo!
