I attended the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia this past weekend with my fiancé, brother and best friend Elisha. We had a fabulous time soaking up the sun while vibing to some great music. The atmosphere was so laid back and I definitely plan on attending again next year! A hiphop show is the perfect environment to bring out this young urban look that I wouldn't get away with in a day to day look.
I found this Biggie shirt at Forever 21 a few months ago and had to have it. I knew it was going to be 95 degrees so I decided to wear some cut off jean shorts and a tight bun to keep cool. We did a ton of walking so I had to go for these comfy flip flops - I'd prefer to wear some adorable wedges but my feet are thankful I didn't! I wore a bright red lip and gold jewelry to dress up this black and white ensamble. I am LOVING black and gold so I decided to share an additional photo with a more sophisticated look I wore a few weeks back.
I wore this black and gold look to work a few weeks ago. The whole outfit is from The Limited. The gold belt spruced this outfit up and also helped to cinch up my waist with this adorable peplum top. As you can see, I love a red lip with this color combo.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend - I'm celebrating my 27th birthday today with my fiancé and some family. I'm embracing this getting older thing and I have a feeling 27 is going to be a super fab year! Cheers xo.
